SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Luke Bradley Media
During my summer after first year, I invested a lot of time into paid advertising on Facebook. I completed the LinkedIn Learning Digital advertising course for Facebook and received a certificate to show. I developed my own page running paid ads, educating others on the benefits of paid Facebook Ads and their advantages over organic growth, especially when you know what you're doing with them!
INDUSTRY PLACEMENT
Signature Entertainment UK
In my second year, I was blessed with the opportunity of undertaking a month long work industry placement with the leading film distributor in the UK, Signature Entertainment. During my time here I learnt a vast amount about the film industry, from Acquisitions, marketing & sales, PR all the way through to quality testing new releases. This gave me a taste for the sheer volume of productivity involved in getting a movie to the big screen.

Over my collective time at University, the one thing that has gotten in the way of my studies, as well as my social and work life, is finances. I wasn't fortunate enough to receive the maximum maintenance grant and my parents weren't able to help fund me, leaving me having to work for a large majority of my time at University. In the last year, I've found a lot of individuals in the same boat as me and wanted to do something about it. With guaranteed low ticket numbers and ticket prices, I hope to develop Student Raffle UK over the next year in order to help other students like myself, succeed in their studies without the financial pressure of purchasing necessary equipment.
